How it works
- Dr. Resnick will send you a link to an online questionnaire.
- Your child must complete the questionnaire. Instruction is given by Dr Resnick (If required Dr Resnick can guide your child through the questionnaire using Teamviewer – which you can download for free.)
- The assessment can also be done via Skype.
- Your child will complete the questionnaire, save it and log out. It will take approx. 40 minutes to complete the questionnaire. (The questionnaire can also be completed at Dr Resnick’s office if Internet access is a problem.)
- Dr Resnick will provide feedback to you and your child after the completion of the questionnaire. The feedback session is approx. 30 minutes.
- At the feedback session, Dr Resnick will clarify the positive and negative consequences of the various subject combinations. He makes his recommendations but it is up to the learner to make the final decision. He guides and informs the parents regarding the doors that are open or closed when choosing different combinations of subjects.
NB: If the parent has other concerns about their grade 9 learner’s attitude to life, and this includes school and authority in general, lack of friends, mixing in a ‘bad crowd’ and/or other inappropriate behaviour, Dr. Resnick is able to administer an excellent personality questionnaire which is able to identify all the issues and challenges that the child may have and which is impeding him/her from coping with their world.
There is an extra fee of R1000 for this assessment which is also claimable from most medical aids.
