Often we are totally unprepared and ignorant as to the consequences of our career choice. Many career assessments tend to pull a string of careers out of a hat without taking into consideration the complexity of the client’s personality.

What makes our career assessment a cut above the majority of other career assessments is that the personality test that’s administered (SORT) gives a very accurate profile of a testee’s personality. It is a ‘C” level test that can only be administered and interpreted by a registered psychologist with training and experience interpreting the Rorschach Test.

Personality traits such as passion, perseverance, anxiety, decision-making, leadership, cooperation with work colleagues, tolerance, and others, all play an important role in the requirements for certain careers. These traits are revealed in the results from the SORT.

It can be assumed that the majority of people are going to want to enter a career that interests them.

The assessment consists of the following psychometric questionnaires:

  • The MB10 interest questionnaire which is administered online
  • The Structured Objective Rorschach Test (SORT)

Advantages of the SORT:

  1. It can be administered as an individual or group test
  2. Sufficient responses are obtained to ensure a reliable and accurate evaluation
  3. An objective score and a simplified very accurate interpretation is obtained

The aim of the SORT is to obtain meaningful data which provides a broad overall assessment of the learner’s personality.

This data is then used in conjunction with the data obtained from the interest profile. The combined information gathered from the SORT and MB10 provides an excellent guide as to which career path the learner should consider, taking into account his/her strengths and weaknesses.

On completion of the assessment, feedback is given to the testee followed by a separate feedback session for the parents and testee in cases where the testee is still dependent on their parents.
